The Regents Award is one of the highest honors the bestows. The award recognizes individuals, families, and organizations that demonstrate exceptionally valuable and meritorious service to the University or contributed to the building and development of the University through significant donations.
A senior leader or dean may submit a nomination at any time. The Board of Regents votes on each award. Once a Regents Award is approved, the nominating party is responsible for making arrangements for the award presentation. A Regent must be included in the presentation.
The names of Regents Award recipients are engraved on the Wall of Honor on Regents Plaza, outside of McNamara Alumni Center.
